From November to April in Victoria one could state “nae rain, nae golf”. Goretex, winter golf boots, rain pants, and rain gloves do the job of keeping your body, feet, hands and head dry. The real challenge is to keep your grips dry so that you retain control of your club. A cotton towel soon becomes saturated so after a few holes it is useless.
My secret …paper towels. Stuff all of your pockets with them. They will dry your hands when you reach for one and they will dry your grips completely with a quick wipe. A word of warning, it is against the rules to wrap your grip with a paper towel when you are hitting a shot.
