"Drive for show, and Putt for dough," is a well known golf phrase depicting the importance of a sharp short game, and where better to practice your short game than the short but challenging Ridge Course at Cordova Bay. We are happy to offer the best executive par 3 greens in the city. Who knows maybe you can even challenge the course record, a 7 under par posted by Brennan Fritz in February 2000.

Telephone (250) 658-3996 The Ridge Course is a 9-hole, par 3 course located in beautiful Cordova Bay. Spectacular views of Haro Strait and San Juan Islands create a breathtaking backdrop for your golfing experience. Opened in June 1999, the Ridge Course has similar features to the Bay Course, across the street. Both courses were designed by well known golf course architect, Bill Robinson.

The Ridge Course provides a great challenge both for the seasoned golfer as well as the beginner. Adjacent to our par 3 course lies our unique, 18-hole Grass Putting Course. These beautifully manicured undulating greens cover 40,000 square feet and provide a challenge to all skill levels of play.

Ladies' Night


Running through the summer, Ladies’ Night returns to the Ridge. Ladies’ Night starts at 5:30pm every Thursday, with dinner to follow at 7pm. For only $26, players get 1 round of golf, a BBQ dinner and prizes.  End of the season prizes are given based on participation so sign up today in the Ridge ProShop. We look forward to seeing you out!


Tuesday Ladies' Morning

The Ridge Ladies' Club plays between 9am and noon every Tuesday. For only $10, ladies' are given the opportunity to golf, and meet others players. How do you join? Joining the ladies' club is free of charge, all that required is an email address. Just stop by the Ridge proshop and sign up today! 

Family Days at the Ridge

Saturday mornings until 1pm and Sunday afternoons after 1pm are Family Days at the Ridge. With purchase of a green fee, one junior under the age of 16 plays for free. This is a great opportunity to get out as a family in a fun atmosphere.

Practice Days

Looking to practice every part of your game? For $22, you can cover it all. This includes one medium basket at Cordova Bay driving range, one round of golf at the Ridge, and an all day pass for the short game practice facility.

Short Game Passes


2010-11 Short Game passes are still Available. $100 for public and just $75 for members gets you access for until March of 2011.

The Ridge Cafe

The Ridge Cafe is a licensed clubhouse and patio that can host golf tournaments and functions of up to 40 people inside in our seated restaurant and over 100 people outside on our beautiful patio overlooking the course, water features and Cordova Bay's newest residential community, Sayward Hill.
